Frequently Asked Questions

  • I primarily work with adults of all ages and stages. I work with youth 14+ who are queer, trans and/or questioning.

  • Yes, I see clients in person in Vernon and Kelowna.

  • Yes, I see clients virtually from all across B.C.

  • $150 for a 50-minute session and $220 for an 80- minute session.

  • Extended benefits commonly cover the costs of counselling with a Registered Social Worker (RSW), but I recommend checking with your provider. After each session, I provide you with an invoice for reimbursement submission.

  • I review all requests on an individual basis. Please email me at jack@jackparkyn.com and we can discuss sliding scale pricing.

  • Front door requires a code to enter the manual door (not power assisted), two flights of stairs up to the office (no elevator). There are washrooms that require a key to use, neither are sign posted as gender neutral.
    There are no windows in my office, I have a small personal air purifier and use lamp lighting. Please email me with any specific accessibility questions or concerns.
